How Current the Details Are
Government offices change addresses, phone numbers, hours, fees, and procedures whenever they need to, and they rarely send word ahead of time. Custody data and online rosters also lag behind real events, since records are entered and refreshed on a delay. Because of that, no detail on this site can be promised as fully up to date. Before you drive to a facility or send money to anyone in custody, call the office that holds the information first. For Connecticut custody that means the right Connecticut Department of Correction facility, and for local arrest reports it means the Bristol Police Records Division. A quick phone call can save a wasted trip.

No Records Are Stored Here
This site keeps no jail rosters, no inmate files, no booking photos, no warrant data, and no court records. It simply points you to the agencies and locators that do hold those things. To confirm whether someone is in custody, or to obtain an actual record, you must go to the agency that created and maintains it. In Bristol that usually means the Connecticut Department of Correction for current custody, the Bristol Police Records Division for local arrest reports, and the New Britain court clerk for case files, since Bristol matters now run through New Britain (GA 15). Connecticut treats most agency records as public under CGS 1-210 and 1-212, but the request still goes to the office that holds the record, not to us.
